It’s—it’s—it’s ALIVE! At Arizona Science Center’s Frankenstein Lab, teens in grades 7-12 will have the chance to craft their own creation, then bring it to life using tools and technology. Throughout the day, participants will build their own mini automatons, moving mechanical devices, using the tools and machines available at CREATE at Arizona Science Center®, from 3D printers and laser cutters to woodworking tools. Photography Exhibit
40 Kids. 80 Images. 1 Incredible Exhibit.
April 6 – May 3
In partnership with Kids in Focus, 25 volunteer photographers mentored 40 at-risk youth through 9-week explorations of their world, using the camera as a tool to help them gain a new perspective on the world—and themselves! The result is this incredible, limited-time exhibit on display at Arizona Science Center. Located in the lobby, no admission required to view the exhibit. Blue Whales: Return of the Giants

Blue Whales: Return of the Giants 3D takes viewers on a journey of a lifetime to explore the world of the magnificent blue whale—a species rebounding from the brink of extinction. Blue whales are the largest animals ever to have lived, bigger than any dinosaur, yet we know surprisingly little about them. Joined by a cast of supporting characters, from dolphins and sperm whales to sea lions and orcas, the blue whale finally gets a turn in the spotlight—in life-size on the giant screen!
