Entrances and Exhibits
All entrances and exhibits at Arizona Science Center and CREATE at Arizona Science Center are accessible by elevator or ramp. Arizona Science Center's main entrance is located within Heritage & Science Park on the south end of the park. CREATE at Arizona Science Center is accessible from Heritage & Science Park and Heritage Garage.
Specially–marked parking spaces are available in the Heritage Square Garage, located at 5th Street and Monroe Street, for vehicles displaying disabled plates or placards.
Wheelchair rentals are available at the Information Zone desk on the Level 1 of Arizona Science Center's main building and also at CREATE's front desk. Rentals are provided free of charge, but require a current form of identification, such as a driver's license, which will be held at the Information Zone until you return the rental wheelchair.
Guests are welcome to bring their own wheelchairs or mobility scooters.
We have a limited number of children's strollers available for rent at the Information Zone desk, located on Level 1 of the main building. Rentals are free, but require a current form of identification, such as a driver's license, which will be held at the Information Zone until you return the rental stroller.
Strollers are not permitted in the Dorrance Planetarium or the Irene P. Flinn Theater. There will be a place outside the theater for you to park your stroller while you enjoy a show.
While pets are not allowed, certified service animals are permitted in Arizona Science Center and CREATE.
Arizona Science Center restrooms are equipped with fully accessible stalls.
Irene P. Flinn Theater and Dorrance Planetarium
The Irene P. Flinn Theater and Dorrance Planetarium are wheelchair accessible.
Many of our Irene P. Flinn Theater shows are presented in 3D format. Polarized 3D glasses will be available for loan at the theater entrance.
Wheelchairs are able to access the Irene P. Flinn Theater from Level 2. A Guest Services representative will be able to open the doors for guests.
