CREATE at Arizona Science Center®, Atrium
Get in gear for Arizona Science Center’s latest experience—Under the Hood, Engineered by Subaru! Ever wondered what really goes on when you start the engine? In this experience, you can:
- Get up close and personal with a real boxer engine to see how the parts move and work together.
- Test your engineering skills with wooden Subaru model cars and a test track. How fast can your car zoom?
- Learn how vehicles are designed and assembled, and discover the latest and safest new technology!
Under the Hood, Engineered by Subaru activities are included FREE with an Arizona Science Center Membership or general admission ticket. Kids under 3 are always FREE.

Tuesday – Saturday from 10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Under the Hood, Engineered by Subaru is located in the Atrium inside CREATE at Arizona Science Center®. CREATE is located across from Arizona Science Center within Heritage and Science Park.
