CREATE at Arizona Science Center
IMAGINE. DESIGN. MAKE. CONNECT.™
CREATE at Arizona Science Center® is where science, design, and engineering collide! Inspired by the productivity of an inventor’s workshop, the creativity of an art studio, and the experimentation of a lab, CREATE is a 6,500 square-foot community hub for turning dreams into reality.
At CREATE, people of all ages can share ideas, collaborate on projects and learn about science, technology, engineering, math, and art through making. By using state-of-the-art, computer-controlled equipment and traditional crafting tools, visitors will have the chance to cut, saw, code, hammer, sew, paint, solder and much more!

CREATE Field Trips
Each CREATE field trip offers groups a private dedicated space within the CREATE building. Following COVID safety protocols, our CREATE field trips for School Groups are unique, hands-on activities that give students the opportunity to engage with the principles of making, tinkering, and design thinking, while also developing proficiency within the framework of the ISTE educational standards.
In this next-generation educational facility, we use both new and traditional technologies to foster active learning and creative problem-solving in a flexible, multi-use environment. At CREATE, we hope to ignite passion in both students and teachers for the type of experimentation that successful scientists, artists, engineers and inventors embody.
