Mark your calendars—there’s a 100% chance of snow this December! Arizona Science Center’s Snow Week made possible by Subaru is back for its eleventh celebration with a blizzard of activities the whole family will love—including the exciting return of our Snow Hill! From December 26 through January 1, enjoy subzero science with our dazzling demonstrations, Snowpal Construction Zone and more!
Snow Week activities are included with general admission to the Science Center. Additional tickets are needed for CREATE workshops, Irene P. Flinn theater films, Dorrance Planetarium shows and the featured exhibition. Children under 3 are always FREE.
The Center will open daily at 9:30 a.m. exclusively for Members. General admission begins at 10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with the last entry at 2:45 p.m.

Grab your hats and gloves before you enter our SnowPal Construction Zone. Put your skills to the test to create the perfect pal—made from real snow!
Clouds of Fun
What happens when boiling hot water meets liquid nitrogen? Find out with our giant liquid nitrogen cloud that closes out each day of Snow Week. Daily outside the front entrance at 4:00 p.m.
Gaze up and prepare to be dazzled by our Wonder Walkway as you begin from our lobby along the hallway by the Dorrance Planetarium to the Daniel Cracchiolo Theater on level 1!
‘Yule’ love these reindeer games! While in the lobby, spend some quality time with your crew and explore fun yard games such as life-size chess, cornhole, Giant Connect Four and more! These winter-themed games will bring out your competitive spirit.

CREATE AT ARIZONA SCIENCE CENTER®
Enjoy two different drop-in activities at CREATE! Learn about Arctic and Antarctic animals with cardboard pop-outs, and tap into your creative side by designing a snow-themed crown.

Help protect our polar bear friends and other polar animals in this activity using LEGO bricks! To help protect polar ecosystems, we need to work together and Build the Change!

Join Science is Fun from Basha High School for exciting presentations and hands-on activities throughout the day! This activity is only available December 29 at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Science of Skating
Discover the science behind this sport with demonstrations from Nancy Pluto of High Note Productions. Hourly demonstrations from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. from December 30 to January 1.
Science of Sports
Learn the science behind the icey sport of hockey by joining the Arizona Coyotes Activation Team on December 28 to work on your slapshot. Stick around and get a chance to hang out with Howler.
Final Days of Going Places
Through engaging interactives, explore how different modes of transportation have shaped society. Discover how gravity, wind, currents, waves, friction and changing landscapes are overcome by the ingenious designs of travel technology.

Exploring the mysterious and majestic continent that impacts every living creature on Earth, Antarctica features unprecedented footage of animals that bear the roughest, coldest and windiest conditions that only few have truly seen until now.
From discovering Arizona's winter night sky to traveling to the depths of our Solar System, enjoy two different experiences inside our Dorrance Planetarium, Arizona Skies and Expedition: Solar System!
