Kick Off the Summer with Super Science Saturday

Celebrate the First Saturday of Summer with Arizona Science Center

Phoenix, AZ – June 19, 2023 – As the temperature heats up outside, now is the time to head over to Arizona Science Center. Always a cool 74 degrees, there’s something for everyone this summer! Join the Arizona Science Center team as we officially kick off summer with a full day of summer-related hands-on activities that are sure to inspire creativity and wonder.

On Saturday, June 24 navigate your way through the Science Center checking out some of our latest and greatest exhibitions and activities! 

Summer Scavenger Hunt: From decoding cryptic messages to conducting awe-inspiring experiments, this scavenger hunt keeps you on your toes throughout our four levels of hands-on fun. Gather your friends, family, or fellow adventure seekers and get ready for an unforgettable journey through the realms of science. The first 100 guests to complete the scavenger hunt, will receive a complimentary gift generously provided by our friends at Subaru. All guests will receive a prize for completing the hunt.

Under the Hood, Engineered by Subaru: Celebrating its one-year anniversary, don’t miss your chance to discover the automotive science in Under the Hood, Engineered by Subaru. Get up close and personal with a real boxer engine to see how the parts move and work together. MISSION FUTURE - Arizona 2045: On a journey to the year 2045, Guests will experience some of the ways climate change will affect life in Arizona—and on our home planet in general. Good Vibrations: Where Science Gets Loud: From cheerful chimes to outdoor xylophones and dramatic marimbas, Guests will make some noise with unique instruments that allow you to create your own harmonious melodies and feel all the good vibrations. Link to images: Click Here

*Jane Goodall - Reasons for Hope: Playing in the Irene P. Flinn Giant Screen Theater, this film takes Guests on an uplifting journey around the globe to highlight good news stories that will inspire people to make a difference in the world around them. Link to images: Click Here

Ready to plan your visit? Arizona Science Center offers a wide range of pricing including the Museums for All program that provides admission to the Science Center for EBT cardholders through SNAP or TANF. Cardholders receive general admission for $3 per person for themselves and up to three others.

Additionally, Arizona Science Center is a proud Blue Star Museum granting FREE general admission for active duty personnel and up to five family members through Labor Day.
