Build it. Test it. Tinker it. Put your innovation, design and construction skills to the test at Arizona Science Center’s newest exhibition, Build It! Through cardboard creations, a LEGO building zone, jumbo blocks and more, Guests will experience the fun challenges of engineering bridges, buildings and everything in between. CAMP INNOVATION Fall Break

3… 2… 1… Lift off! What would it take for humans to not only survive—but thrive—on Mars? At CAMP INNOVATION’s Fall Break session, Mission to Mars, campers will spend the week exploring what it would take to live on our neighboring planet. From planning the journey to the Red Planet and how to safely land on its surface to creating a packing list and building sustainable communities, future space explorers will use their imaginations and creativity to make Mars a habitable place for humans.

BOO! Ready to get hands-on with Halloween? At the next Girls in STEM event, Creepy Chemistry, prepare yourself to get spellbound with science! Through eerie experiments, local STEM Mentor engagement and like-minded peer connections, participants will explore the world of chemistry. From fizzy ghost rockets and exploding monsters to color-changing chemicals, Ghouls in STEM will have a frighteningly fun time while learning the science behind thrilling chemical reactions!

Cities of the Future

Imagine stepping 50 years into the future and finding smart cities designed to be totally sustainable. Renewable energy is our primary power source, space-based solar power provides solar energy 24 hours a day, everything is recycled, and you travel in individualized pods that run on little or no energy. This isn’t science fiction. Engineers are making plans for a sustainable world right now, and it’s coming to the giant screen!

Join Arizona Science Center for live, daily demonstrations that inspire, educate and engage curious minds! Each 15-minute show is available every hour starting at 10:20 a.m. and is included with your Arizona Science Center Membership or general admission
