Inspired by the productivity of an inventor’s workshop, the creativity of an art studio, the experimentation of a lab, and the connectivity of a shared community space, CREATE Inside Arizona Science Center is now open!

This space allows Guests of all ages to share ideas, collaborate on projects, and learn by sparking curiosity about state-of-the-art equipment and traditional crafting tools. Try free tinkering activities like building challenges and doodling tables, explore new technology, or tap into your inner engineer with a paid workshop to develop specific skills. Whether you're creating something new or simply testing your skills, there's always something to discover at CREATE Inside Arizona Science Center.

Doodle-A-Day & Lego Tables

Tap into the 'A' in STEAM—Art! Get inspired, be creative, and have fun. Our monthly rotating Doodle-a-Day posters feature daily prompts to spark your imagination. You can also pull up a chair at our Lego Tables to build whatever you can dream up.

Scan the World

Discover artifacts from around the globe! Since 2014, Scan the World has grown into a collection of over 16,000 free, 3D-printable cultural artifacts. It makes art and history accessible to anyone through digital scans of objects from museums, public spaces, and private collections.

Cardboard Construction

Put your engineering skills to the test! We’ll have all the tools to help you create a cardboard masterpiece. Not sure what to build? Our construction techniques guide will point you in the right direction.

CNC Puzzles

Tackle gravity-based wooden puzzles created by our Makerspace team. Work together to problem-solve and assemble a dog and a dinosaur!

Gravity Mazes

Using the power of gravity and a pulley system in a game of concentration and skill, avoid obstacles while bringing a ball from the bottom to the goal at the top. Try alone, or with a partner for an added coordination challenge.

Join our CREATE Team for daily demonstrations that will get your creative juices flowing. Stop by the counter to ask our CREATE Team what they are working on, and learn about the equipment—like the laser cutter or 3D printer—helping them bring their creations to life!
