Mark your calendars–snow is in the forecast this December. Made possible by Subaru, Arizona Science Center’s Snow Week ioffers guests of all ages the opportunity to discover the science behind ice and snow.

Member Only Hour
The Center will open daily at 9:30 a.m. exclusively for Members. General admission begins at 10:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with the last entry at 2:45 p.m. Due to daily limited capacity, advance ticket reservations are required.

Subzero Science
Explore the science behind ice and snow with dazzling hourly demonstrations live from the Daniel Cracchiolo Theater.

Ice-Themed Films

Do You Want To Build a SnowPal
Are you ready for this fun winter challenge? Grab your hats, gloves, and safety mask before you enter our SnowPal Construction Zone. Put your skills to the test to create the perfect pal–made from real snow!

Final Days of Victoria the T. rex
Don’t miss this once-in-a-lifetime chance to see a REAL T. rex dinosaur. Victoria, the largest Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton touring the world is now on display in an all-new state-of-the-art exhibition until January 3, 2021.

Clouds of Fun
Close the day with our famous liquid nitrogen cloud outside on the front lawn. We'll use liquid nitrogen and hot water to create a giant cloud of liquid nitrogen. How cool is that?

Snow Week activities are included with self-guided experience admission to the Science Center. Additional tickets are required for the Irene P. Flinn Giant Screen Theater, Dorrance Planetarium, and featured exhibition. Children under 3 are always FREE.
