When school's out, CAMP INNOVATION is in! Arizona Science Center’s CAMP INNOVATION will inspire and engage curious minds through STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) learning. Camps vary throughout the year and include themes such as Campfire Science, Wild Weather and Dinosaurs!

WINTER WONDERS CAMP 

WEEK 1

December 19-23 | 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Cost: $260 Members | $295 Non-Members
Grades: 1-6

It’s a 100% chance of snow for CAMP INNOVATION! During our Winter Break camps, Winter Wonders, Jr. Scientists will experiment with some of the coolest science. From snow dough and make-your-own slushies to light-up winter scenes and an icy engineering challenge, campers in grades 1-6 are sure to stay engaged in STEM topics throughout their Winter Break.

This 5-day session aims to build confidence, inspire curiosity and spark creative problem-solving skills with a blizzard of activities. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.

Volunteer Opportunity

Are you interested in science and enjoy engaging with children?

Fall 2022 CAMP INNOVATION at Arizona Science Center wants your help!

  • Work directly with students in grades 1-6 and camp instructors to provide a unique, memorable camp experience.
  • Assist with set-up and clean-up of camp classrooms and help chaperone lunch and snack times for campers.
  • Gain experience in informal education, working on a team, delivering science programming to children and events coordination.

Requirements:

    • Must be between 15 year or older by October 10, 2022.
    • Commit to one week of camp with regular shifts (30–40 hours per week).
