Dorrance DOME Celebrates One Year Around the Sun

 

PHOENIX, AZ - North America’s most technologically advanced planetarium, the Dorrance DOME, celebrates its first year open. Since opening in October 2025, the Dorrance DOME has captivated audiences with breathtaking, immersive experiences that push the boundaries of what’s possible in experiential entertainment. From the wonder of science to the creativity of local artists and the energy of live performance, the Dorrance DOME has quickly become a place where curiosity, creativity, and connection come to life.

Guests have explored the universe through science-based shows while also experiencing the richness of local art and culture in an entirely new way. At the heart of the Dorrance DOME experience are the original programs created and to bring to our community together—from live astronomy shows and Art 360 experiences to live music, yoga, wine tastings, and more.

Dorrance DOME offers an unparalleled setting for seated dinners, cocktail receptions, presentations, and special events. Beneath its magnificent LED dome, guests are immersed in a captivating fusion of art, science, and culture, creating truly memorable occasions beneath the stars.

Accommodates 205 lecture style, 100 standing guests or 60 seated.
