Dorrance DOME After Hours Unveils May–June Lineup Featuring Immersive Star Wars Experiences

PHOENIX, AZ — Arizona Science Center’s Dorrance DOME announces its highly anticipated May and June After Hours schedule, headlined by a spectacular series of Star Wars presentations that transform one of the most beloved film franchises into a fully immersive, larger-than-life experience. Anchored by Star Wars: A New Hope, this lineup invites audiences to experience every iconic moment reimagined in stunning 8K+ resolution on the Dorrance DOME’s 60-foot LED display.

The cinematic journey continues with Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back on Sunday, May 3 at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., immersing audiences in iconic moments—from the Battle of Hoth to the formidable Darth Vader approaching

The celebration reaches its peak on Monday, May 4 “May the Fourth Be With You”, a one-day-only event featuring multiple screenings of the original trilogy:

• 11:30 a.m. | Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
• 2:30 p.m. | Star Wars: A New Hope
• 5:30 p.m. | Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back
• 8:30 p.m. | Star Wars: Return of the Jedi

This special event invites fans to relive legendary scenes—lightsaber duels, starship battles, and epic storytelling—in a fully enveloping environment unlike anything else in Phoenix.

Tickets for all Star Wars screenings are $30 per person, discounts are available for children and Arizona Science Center Members.

Beyond Star Wars, the Dorrance DOME After Hours lineup offers a diverse mix of immersive entertainment, art, and wellness experiences throughout May and June:

• Art 360: K-POP DEMON HUNTERS — A high-energy fusion of K-pop, fantasy, and anime-inspired visuals in a 30-minute immersive show with pre-show experience. (Multiple dates May–June; $20/$16 members)
• Art 360: Sip n’ Paint…Under the Sea — A one-of-a-kind creative experience combining painting, drinks, and immersive ocean visuals. (May 8 & June 3; $45/$40 members)
• Mindful Moments: Yoga in the DOME — A guided yoga practice set within breathtaking immersive environments. (May 9, May 10, June 6 & June 7; $40/$32 members)
• Mindful Moments: Sound Healing — A restorative experience blending meditation, sound, and visual immersion. (May 24 & June 14; $55/$45 members)
• After Hours Film Experiences including Orbital, The Psychedelic Mixtape, Worlds Beyond Earth, and Resolution: A Cinephonic Rhapsody for the Soul, offering journeys through space, music, and human emotion. (Multiple dates May–June;$14/$7 members))
