STRATEGIC VISION 2021–2023
From the early 1980’s when we opened as a pilot-science center in a downtown storefront, a vision of the Junior League of Phoenix, to today, we have been inspiring, educating, and engaging curious minds through science.
Our strong history of results and impact have positioned the Center to build on our existing strengths as the state’s leading provider of interactive exhibits, research-based, standards-aligned STEM education programs, and K-12 educator support. Couple this with the strong financial position and a reputation for excellence and Arizona Science Center is poised for significant innovation and growth over the coming years.
A core value at Arizona Science Center is our commitment to lifelong learning. We model this value in both the public programs available to our community and with our commitment to staff professional and personal development. It is no surprise that this value also translates into our institutional growth plans. We seek to learn from every challenge and success and incorporate that learning into our future growth. Listening is a key component of this quest for knowledge.
In order to map our course, staff leadership with the approval of the board developed a Strategic Vision (2021-2023) that sets a bold course for the institution to become a global leader in engaging science experiences in order to foster a community where people value science, technology, engineering and mathematics as a way to inform decision-making and enrich lives.
We are poised to be a solution by priming a talented workforce that seeks higher education and encourages innovation and inventors.
