This free immersive preview, presented in partnership with Arizona State University, brings Arizona’s story to life in breathtaking detail, showcasing how cutting-edge technology and creative innovation combine to redefine what’s possible in digital experiences. At 60 feet in diameter and boasting 8K+ resolution, the Dorrance DOME surrounds audiences with crystal-clear, ultra-realistic visuals that blur the line between the virtual and the real.
Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so early arrival is encouraged.

More than a planetarium, the Dorrance DOME is a gateway to the universe—hosting immersive astronomy shows, live presentations, concerts, yoga, and community gatherings that unite art, science, and culture beneath one dazzling LED dome.

Yes! Dorrance DOME is a fully cashless venue that only accepts debit card, credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay for a contactless and speedy checkout.
We recommend arriving at least 45 minutes before your scheduled showtime. This gives you plenty of time to check in, find your seat, get comfortable, and ensure you don’t miss the start of the experience. Once the show begins, late entry may be restricted to avoid disruptions.
Food and drinks are allowed inside the Dorrance DOME. Guests are welcome to bring small snacks and beverages to enjoy during the immersive experience. Please be mindful of others by keeping items contained and disposing of trash properly, ensuring everyone can enjoy the show in a clean and comfortable environment.
Five ADA-compliant spaces are available within the Dorrance DOME. Guests will enter through the main entrance. A Team Member can assist you in locating your seat once inside the venue.
Closed captioning, amplified audio (headsets and neck loops) and descriptive audio are available for most films at no additional cost. Please request assistive devices when making ticket reservations or at the Admissions Zone or Information Zone.
