Dorrance DOME Announces January & February Immersive Experiences

Art, wine, science, and music converge to create extraordinary events

 

PHOENIX, AZ –Dorrance DOME at Arizona Science Center kicks off 2026 with an electrifying lineup of immersive art, music, and cosmic experiences designed to delight the senses and ignite the imagination. From sip-and-paint adventures under shimmering northern lights to mind-expanding musical journeys and awe-inspiring space explorations, January and February offer unique experiences for the whole community.

On Valentine’s Day, wine lovers are invited to a one-of-a-kind tasting adventure as the Dorrance DOME transforms into an immersive celebration of Arizona’s vineyards and flavors. Guests will sip their way across the state without leaving the Valley, surrounded by stunning vistas, sweeping landscapes, and 360-degree views of Arizona’s natural beauty. 

Whether you’re a wine connoisseur, an art enthusiast, or a fan of cosmic experiences, Dorrance DOME offers unforgettable evenings where wine, art, science, and music come together spectacularly.

Art 360: KPOP DEMON HUNTERS

Step into a world where K-pop power meets epic fantasy! The Dorrance DOME erupts with pulsating beats, jaw-dropping visuals, and anime-inspired projections—transforming every corner of the 8K LED dome into an electrifying stage.

This is not a screening of the film, but a spectacular immersive experience where songs from the movie are synced to stunning creative visuals. Feel the energy of each track as it’s reimagined through breathtaking animation, dynamic light, and larger-than-life storytelling.

Voyage beyond the planet and experience our home through the eyes of Astronauts. Orbital is an epic animated journey from the Big Bang to the flourishing of life on Earth, to low Earth orbit. A new film by Guy Reid and Planetary Collective, Orbital transports you through an abstract landscape of light, inspired by bioluminescent earthly beings and atmospheric aurorae. Guided by the astronauts of Constellation Coalition who have looked back and experienced the awe of our place in the universe, you will feel your own “Overview Effect” as you meditate on our planet in Shared Reality.

Dorrance DOME After Hours: Worlds Beyond Earth

Narrated by Academy Award-winner Lupita Nyong’o, Worlds Beyond Earth tells the story of the surprisingly dynamic worlds that orbit our Sun. Based on authentic scientific data from groundbreaking space missions, Worlds Beyond Earth takes viewers on an exhilarating adventure through our cosmic neighborhood. Immersive visualizations showcase the solar system with unprecedented accuracy, including a landing on the cratered surface of our own Moon, a dramatic flight through the swirling rings of Saturn, and soaring encounters with distant worlds of active volcanoes and buried oceans. Featuring breathtaking visuals and cutting-edge science, Worlds Beyond Earth is a dazzling celebration of the Age of Exploration and the unique conditions that make life on Earth possible. Worlds Beyond Earth was created by the American Museum of Natural History, the Frederick Phineas and Sandra Priest Rose Center for Earth and Space, and the Hayden Planetarium.

Mindful Moments: Yoga in the Dorrance DOME

Sunday, February 1 | 4:30 p.m.

Cost: $40 Per Person | Members $32

Flow into a yoga experience like no other within the Dorrance DOME. Surrounded by breathtaking immersive visuals and sound, this class blends movement, breath, and atmosphere to ground your body and expand your mind. Designed for all levels, it’s a practice that invites you to reset, connect, and discover a new sense of balance in an unforgettable setting. Each session is led by Sharon Ducati from Sharon Rose Yoga.

A limited number of yoga mats are available. Guests are welcome to bring their own mats and water.

Art 360: Sip n’ Paint... Cosmic Cacti

Get ready to paint the desert like never before! Art 360: Sip n’ Paint… Cosmic Cacti transforms the Dorrance DOME into a 360° wonderland of Arizona’s most breathtaking landscapes.

Sip your way across Arizona without leaving the Valley as the Dorrance DOME surrounds you with stunning vistas, sweeping landscapes and unique 360-degree views of state 48. This one-hour cocktail experience pairs curated pours with gourmet bites, creating a fully immersive celebration of Arizona’s stunning landscapes and flavors.

Mindful Moments: Sound Healing in the Dorrance DOME

Settle into the Dorrance DOME for a sound healing experience that blends deep vibration, guided meditation, and breathtaking projections above. As the instruments resonate through the space, the visuals wrap around you, creating a one-of-a-kind journey that calms the mind, settles the nervous system, and leaves you feeling renewed. This is a 1-hour experience led by Sierra Jiwani of Mindful Resonance
