CAMP INNOVATION Returns to Host Ultimate Summer Series
Arizona Science Center to Offer Prehistoric, NASA, Nature and Engineering-Themed Summer Camp Activities; Plus the Opportunity for Teens to Step Into a Leadership Role
PHOENIX – Arizona Science Center is the hub for interactive, fun and educational summer camps in the Valley. Held from June 1 through July 24, CAMP INNOVATION Summer Break will feature five different themed camp programming that allows attendees to go back in time, shoot for the stars, uncover facts about nature and put on their engineering thinking-caps.
CAMP INNOVATION Summer Break will kick off with “Dinosauria: Science of the Lost World,” which will allow these young explorers a chance to uncover the mysteries of Earth’s prehistoric past and discover how paleontologists piece together ancient life using fossils and geology. Then, it will feature its “NASA ASTRO® Camp,” where they will explore the science behind space travel, planetary systems, rocketry, robotics and life beyond Earth. The “Nature Unleashed” and “Theme Park Engineers” camps will follow, and offer insight into the science behind nature’s most powerful events and engineering behind the world’s most exciting amusement parks respectively. Once one cycle of these camps has finished, another cycle of the same themed camps will pick up for the second half of the series.
Additionally, there will be two overnight CAMP INNOVATION events this summer on June 19 and July 10. To attend, campers must be registered for at least one week of onsite or offsite CAMP INNOVATION 2026 summer camps.
Also, for teens who want to step into leadership, Arizona Science Center is offering “Counselor in Training” roles, where these students will assist with activities, support younger campers, and participate in daily workshops that will prepare them to become camp counselors in the future.
