Arizona Science Center Hosts Science With A TWIST: Nerdy & Naughty Event
PHOENIX – Arizona Science Center is breaking down barriers and turning up the heat on all things sex and science for its next Science With A TWIST event: “Nerdy & Naughty: A Night of Sexy Science”. This 21+ event will be held on June 20 from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. and will be a night where every experiment is designed to spark curiosity, fun, and a little bit of naughty science.
Attendees will explore the art of attraction through trivia and interactive demos, uncover the engineering behind sex toys, and dive into pleasure-based intimacy with guest speakers.

- Activities
- Race the Rubber: Step into the ultimate party challenge! Strap on a helmet, start moving and watch as each step inflates a condom balloon on top of your head. Keep going until it pops—first to burst their balloon wins!
- Period Cramp Simulator: Are you tough enough? Strap in and find out! Our Period Cramp Simulator delivers real contractions to put your pain tolerance to the test.
- The Science (and Engineering) of Sex Toys: Discover the science of pleasure! Get hands-on with the engineering behind sex toys—design, mechanics, and innovation that make them work.
- There will also be sex-themed trivia and a guest speaker, who will talk about moving from performance-based sex and toward pleasure-based sex
