Notable Valley Hot Spots Team up to Promote Dorrance DOME

Six Valley Businesses Announce Special Menu Items in Support of New Chapter for Science, Technology, Culture, and Tourism in Arizona

PHOENIXArizona Science Center recently announced the highly anticipated grand reopening of the Dorrance Planetarium, now called the Dorrance DOME. Powered by Cosm’s cutting-edge CX System LED Dome, it will deliver a breathtaking and unrivaled visual and experiential space that brings science, art and the universe to life like never before.

To celebrate this landmark announcement and must-see experience for locals and travelers, various Valley businesses are teaming up with Arizona Science Center to offer Dorrance DOME-themed menu items.

“The Dorrance DOME will be a pillar in Arizona Science Center’s future and usher in a new standard in scientific storytelling for the state of Arizona,” said Tammy Stewart, Interim Hazel A. Hare President & CEO, Arizona Science Center. “We are thrilled to be collaborating with businesses that are beloved in the Valley to kick off this exciting announcement, and look forward to continuing to integrate the Dorrance DOME into the fabric of Phoenix’s food, art, science and culture scene.”

The Dorrance DOME will officially open on Saturday, October 18. During October, people can find these specialty items at the following Valley hot spots.

    • Starry Night: Inspired by Van Gogh’s iconic painting, the flavor features vanilla ice cream swirled with Blue Moon and yellow marshmallows to evoke a starry sky.
