Dorrance DOME Announces After Hours Programming Schedule

Immersive Music, Art, Film & Seasonal Magic Fill the Dorrance DOME This Holiday Season

 

PHOENIX - Arizona Science Center is excited to announce a month of vibrant, immersive experiences inside the state-of-the-art Dorrance DOME this December. The centerpiece of Dorrance DOME After Hours is our beloved holiday tradition: Pjs & The Polar Express! 

Slip into your coziest PJs and join us for The Polar Express under a star-filled sky. Guests can also enjoy electrifying music and art showcases, cozy holiday screenings, and unforgettable explorations of sound, cinema, and creativity—making December nights in the Dorrance DOME truly magical

NOVEMBER

Saturday, November 29
Art 360: KPOP Demon Hunters | 4:00 p.m
Cost: $20 per person | Members: $16
K-pop meets epic fantasy! Step inside the Dorrance DOME for an immersive spectacle of pulsating beats, anime-inspired visuals, and larger-than-life storytelling. Songs from the movie come alive with stunning animation, dynamic lights, and high-octane adventure all around you.

More than a planetarium, the Dorrance DOME is a gateway to the universe —hosting immersive astronomy shows, live presentations, concerts, yoga, and community gatherings, plus beloved daytime shows now available after hours.

DECEMBER 

Saturday, December 13 & Saturday, December 20
Pjs & The Polar Express: Twilight in the Dorrance DOME  | 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Cost: $50 per person | Members $40
Admission includes film screening, popcorn & hot cocoa and access to Level 1 of Arizona Science Center

Slip into your coziest PJs and climb aboard The Polar Express for Twilight in the Dorrance DOME—a shared reality screening where the beloved holiday film unfolds beneath a swirling, star-filled sky. Settle into soft floor lounges and beanbags as snow-covered forests, curling steam, and northern lights stretch across the full-dome overhead. Sip hot cocoa, munch on popcorn, and feel the wonder of the journey to the North Pole come alive all around you—making this holiday movie night feel as magical as the first jingle of a silver bell.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m., film starts promptly at 6:00 p.m. with additional star gazing inside the Dorrance DOME following the screening.

Art 360: Sip n’ Paint...  Auroras Over the Arctic  | 6:00 p.m. & 7:30 p.m. 
Cost: $45 Per Person—Drink Ticket and Supplies Included

Capture the magic of the northern lights as they shimmer across a frozen horizon. Brilliant greens, purples, and blues cascade overhead while you bring their beauty to life on canvas. 75-minute guided sip-n-paint session. Admission includes painting supplies and one complimentary drink ticket.
