Whether you already have a STEM club at your school or you are planning to start a new one, let us support you with inspiring, engaging, and exciting activities. Our STEM Club Instructor Workshops are professional development courses that give you insight into inquiry-based science and provide you with the materials, curriculum and strategies to facilitate an eight week, out-of-school-time, club of your own.

Each training date includes lunch, six hours of professional development for two teachers, one kit of materials and one curriculum guide containing eight STEM activities. Each session will introduce a new STEM Club topic.

Located at C3 classroom inside Arizona Science Center
Price: $800 per session date | Includes lunch

20192020 Dates and Club Themes:

February 22, 2020 - It's In the Bag

Plants and animals have amazing ways of protecting and defending themselves, which can inspire engineers to design new technologies. Youth participating in this unit will become materials engineers as they use the Engineering Design Process to design bioinspired gear that meets clients’ needs.

May 9, 2020 - Don't Runoff

When it rains, it pours—and when water can't soak through pavement, rain collects pollution that washes into rivers, lakes, and oceans. Use your environmental engineering skills to redesign a city and control stormwater runoff.
