In Outdoor Science, your student(s) will learn more about the plants and animals living in your very own environment through daily lessons, including hands-on activities, experiments, digital resources and active outside investigations. See the appropriate grade-bands and topics below to get started!
Grades K-2
Living vs. non-living, food chains and webs, structures of plants and animals, adaptations and shelters.
Grades 3-5
Habitats, structures and functions of plants and animals, plant and animal adaptations, interdependence, and impacts of human-caused and natural changes to habitats.
Grades 6-8
Impacts of human activities on the environment, the interdependence of organisms and their environment, photosynthesis, heredity and natural selection.
