Snow Week

8th Annual Snow Week 2019 made possible by Subaru

Bundle up, We are forecasting a SNOWSTORM!

Snow Week is bigger and better this year with snow falling overhead, on top of more than 100 tons of snow over 7 days and awesome holiday tunes outside!   Every day, play on the snowy hill in Heritage & Science park, be a part of our Facebook "SnowStorm" report, dance in our Dino-Conga line and watch us create a snow cloud at the end of the day—making Snow Week the COOLEST winter experience.

Arizona Science Center's Snow Week made possible by Subaru, a Phoenix tradition is the best place to play in the snow with over 100 tons to blanket the Heritage & Science Park for seven days. Make snow angels, build a snowman and sled at the longest-running snow event in the Valley. Every morning, the first 50 kids will receive a free pair of Subaru gloves or beanie hat to keep warm while playing in the snow, starting at 9:30 a.m. each day.

Whether experiencing some ‘sweet’ science, solving ‘cold cases’ like a CSI professional or discovering more about dinosaurs in celebration of Victoria the T. rex exhibition, the Center will have themed days PLUS a Snow Week favorite tradition found nowhere else in the Valley –'Snowing Ping Pong Ball' Explosions! Snow Week 2019 made possible by Subaru.

From a special showing of Ice Worlds in the Dorrance Planetarium to hands-on activities in CREATE at Arizona Science Center, there’s fun for the entire family. Making her world debut at Arizona Science Center, Victoria is the largest touring T. rex skeleton in the world.
