Investigate the Sun through hands-on activities, labs, demonstrations and your own experimentation with Arizona Science Center staff, all month long. FREE with General Admission.

Solar Viewers | Look at the Sun without damaging your eyes. Learn how to create viewers that will help you safely look at the sun.

Solar Art | Use the power of the Sun to create a work of art that you can take home.

Solar Beads | Discover beads that glow when exposed to ultraviolet light, reminding you to put on your sunglasses or lather on the sunscreen.

Solar TV | Look at the Sun in real-time (with no glasses!) through our specialized telescope while our Blue Crew Science Interpreters share some out-of-this-world facts about our star.

Pocket Solar System | Create your own pocket-sized copy of our solar system for you to keep and carry as a reference 

Space Guess Quest | Learn about space by playing a game where you identify different objects ranging from human-made space crafts to nebulas and galaxies 

Family Solar Lab | Learn how scientists harness energy from the sun and convert it into electrical power here on Earth. Then, see if you can use light to power a creation of your own!
