WORKSHOPS 

For Saturday morning and afternoon workshops, please meet in the lobby of the Science Center. For Wednesday evening workshops, please meet outside the front entrance of the Science Center. Your instructor will greet you approximately 5 minutes prior to the event start time. 
Park inside the Heritage Square Parking Garage located off 5th and Monroe Streets. Parking tickets will be validated for one hour of free parking. Every hour after that will be $1, but will not exceed $8.
Yes, however this is not included in the price of the workshop. General admission group rates apply.
Yes. A confirmation email with event details will be sent to the adults who registered one to two weeks prior to the event date.
Workshop schedules vary depending on theme. Each workshop includes at least three different hands-on classroom activities.
Arizona Science Center Patches will be provided for specific events; Girl/Boy Scout Badges are not provided.

CAMP INS

Yes. Camp-in prices include: pizza dinner, snack and light continental breakfast. 

Guests will sleep on the floor inside one of the assigned gallery spaces.
We recommend bringing a sleeping bag, pillow, pad or air mattress, clothing, flash lights and personal toiletries (tooth brush, tooth paste, etc.). Please do not bring any radios, iPod/mp3, cell phones or hand held video gaming systems.
Lights out will be around 10:45-11 p.m.
Guests will be woken up around 7 a.m.
Scouts: Parents and Troop Leaders can drop Scouts and their belongings off at the 5th Street loading zone and then bring their belongings over to the main entrance. An Arizona Science Center employee will be at the main entrance to greet and check-in guests around 5:50 p.m.

Camp-in schedules vary depending on theme. Each Camp-in includes dinner, snacks, hands on-science activities, gallery exploration and breakfast.  Add-on options include Dorrance Planetarium presentation, Irene P. Flinn Theater Giant Screen Film, Traveling Exhibition access, and/or CREATE maker activity.
Yes. Please notify the instructors when you arrive of what time you will need to leave. The instructors must escort you out of the building. If you need to leave early, you may miss out on one or more of the scheduled activities. 
A participant may bring their own food only if a participant has a food allergy or medical need. We do provide limited cool storage and access to a microwave. Please notify the Program Coordinator prior to the event of any special circumstances.
Yes, however this is not included in the price of the Camp-in. Arizona Science Center opens at 10 a.m. (9 a.m. for school groups); general admission at the group rate will apply.

Girl Scouts:  Arizona Science Center camp-in programs follow the Girl Scouts’ adult–to–girl ratios requiring the necessary amount of chaperones to register.

Schools and Families:  Adults must be present and with the students at all times.  The child to adult ratio is 1:5. Teachers and chaperones are responsible for their group’s behavior. We reserve the right to remove any individual or group refusing to comply with reasonable standards of behavior. 

Arizona Science Center schedules two staff associates minimum for each program.
