Did you know that there are four distinct layers of Earth? The inner core is in the very center of Earth and is the hottest layer. The outer core is the only liquid layer, and is made out of iron, sulfur and oxygen. The mantle is the thickest layer, and is part of what erupts from a volcano. The crust has two parts: oceanic and land. Make your own edible layers of the Earth!

Supplies / Suministros

- 5 cups milk / 5 tazas de leche

How-To
Step 1: Make vanilla pudding according to the directions on the box. Divide pudding into three small mixing bowls.
Step 2: Color your pudding:
- Add 5-10 drops of red food coloring to the first bowl. Mix well.
- Add 7 drops of yellow and 3 drops of red food coloring to the second bowl. Mix well.
- Add 4 drops of yellow food coloring to the third bowl. Mix well.
Step 3: Make chocolate pudding in a separate bowl using the directions on the box.
Step 4: Chill pudding for one hour. During this time, prepare the coconut and Oreo toppings.
Step 5: Put the coconut in a zip-top bag and add five drops of green food coloring. Zip the bag and shake until the coconut is green.
Step 6: Put Oreos in a zip-top bag. Zip the bag and crush with a rolling pin.
Step 7: Once the pudding is done chilling, build Earth’s layers following the steps below:
- Inner Core: 6 mini marshmallows
- Inner Core: 1 Tbsp. yellow vanilla pudding
- Outer Core: 1 Tbsp. orange vanilla pudding
- Inner Mantle: 1 Tbsp. red vanilla pudding
- Outer Mantle: 1 Tbsp. chocolate pudding
- Crust: 1 Tbsp. crushed Oreos
- Grass: 1 Tbsp. green coconut
Instrucciones
Paso 1: Prepara el pudín de vainilla según las instrucciones de la caja. Divide el pudín en tres tazones pequeños para mezclar.
Paso 2: Colorea tu pudín:
- Agrega 5-10 gotas de colorante rojo al primer tazón. Mezclar bien.
- Agrega 7 gotas de colorante amarillo y 3 gotas de colorante rojo al segundo recipiente. Mezclar bien.
- Agrega 4 gotas de colorante amarillo al tercer recipiente. Mezclar bien.
Paso 3: Prepara el pudín de chocolate en un recipiente aparte siguiendo las instrucciones de la caja.
Paso 4: Deja que el pudín se enfríe durante una hora. Durante ese tiempo, prepara los condimentos de coco y Oreo.

Paso 7: Una vez que el pudín se haya enfriado, construye las capas de la Tierra siguiendo los pasos a continuación:
- Núcleo interior: 6 mini malvaviscos
- Núcleo interior: 1 cucharada de pudín de vainilla amarillo
- Núcleo exterior: 1 cucharada de pudín de naranja y vainilla
- Manto Interior: 1 cucharada de pudín de vainilla rojo
- Manto exterior: 1 cucharada de pudín de chocolate
- Corteza: 1 cucharada Oreo trituradas
- Pasto: 1 cucharada de coco verde
