Computer Science (CS) Fundamentals is an introductory workshop designed for elementary educators teaching grades K–5 who have not taught the CS Fundamentals curriculum (or potentially any computer science at all) and are interested in exploring it. Attendees will come away with a basic knowledge of how to begin teaching computer science using Code.org’s CS Fundamentals curriculum and receive a certificate for 8 hours of professional development. Continental breakfast served from 8–8:30 a.m. and lunch is provided each day.
