Last year, thousands marveled at the sight of The Great Eruption. For one night only, join us as breathtaking visuals transform the exterior of the Arizona Science Center into a mysterious seven-story, antique vault using 3D image mapping, giant jets of steam, and captivating sound effects. Help us solve the puzzle to discover the secret that lies within our walls.
Once again, we are partnering with Walter Productions, a local production company known for out-of-this-world festival experiences at Bonnaroo, Kalliope, Lost Lake Festival, and more.
Experience this immersive storytelling production, complete with mystery, captivating visual and audio effects, and family-friendly activities – all in celebration of the incredible Mummies of the World: The Exhibition.

Explore the Science Center
Grab your neighbors, family, and friends! Come early or stay late. Mummies of the World: The Exhibition and all four levels of the Science Center will remain open until 10 p.m.
Experience an evening filled with amazing science demonstrations led by the Blue Crew – our team of science interpreters, participate in mummies-themed activities, grab dinner or indulge in a treat from some of the Valley’s most popular food trucks, and enjoy a mummies-inspired cocktail for guests 21 and older.
Follow explorers as they investigate the royal tombs of Egypt in Mummies: Secrets Of The Pharaohs showing in the five-story Irene P. Flinn Giant Screen Theater. Learn how the stars tell tales of the gods, and how they were integral to the development of the Egyptians most impressive feats of science including the pyramids in Stars Of The Pharaohs in the Dorrance Planetarium.
Mummies of the World: The Exhibition requires a timed-entry ticket and purchase of general admission – we highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance online.
Be awestruck by The Great Reveal!
Find a spot outside in Heritage and Science Park to watch The Great Reveal, scheduled for 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. Bring collapsible chairs or blankets if you like. Admission to the Park is free. General Admission tickets required for activities inside the Center.

Parking is available in Heritage Garage conveniently located on 5th Street and Monroe, with overflow at the Phoenix Convention Center. Please bring your Heritage Garage parking ticket with you to be validated for a reduced parking fee with your Science Center admission.
