Dogs! A Science Tail | Spring 2023

Sniff out the science behind our puppy love

February 5 – April 30, 2023 | Sybil B. Harrington Gallery, Level 3

Have you ever wondered what your dog is thinking? Dogs! A Science Tail is a fun, interactive glimpse into the world of our canine friends. The exhibition highlights the extraordinary ways dogs see, hear and smell their surroundings, and explores why humans and dogs are best friends.

Let curiosity be your guide and discover life from a dog’s point of view in the Science Center’s newest exhibition. Experience the extraordinary way a dog sees, hears and smells the world.

Here's what you'll experience when you visit:

  • Explore the world from a dog's perspective through a variety of hands-on exhibits.
  • Learn how the ability to understand and communicate with each other lies at the heart of the unique relationship between humans and dogs, and what makes this one of the most successful interspecies partnerships of all time.
  • Test your pop culture knowledge during a game of "Jeopawdy!" based on the show Jeopardy!
  • All Guests are invited to share personal photos and stories of their dogs on a photo wall.
  • Share your photos on social media using the hashtags #DogsAScienceTail #AzScienceDogs

Dogs! A Science Tail exhibition was created and developed by the California Science Center with support from Annenberg Foundation and Wallis Annenberg PetSpace.
