Explore mechanical and electrical engineering, programming and design. You will solder a blinking badge, learn how to code a video game and examine CAD design methods used for 3D Printing and laser cutting. Each hands-on activity helps build skills advantageous for inventing and careers in technology, design, and fabrication.

CREATE Junior: 3D Printing 

Every third Saturday and first Sunday
Time: 1–3 p.m.
Ages: 8–12
Fee: $35 

Do you have a young maker? CREATE Junior introduces kids ages 8–12 to the world of technology and engineering. Kids will learn what 3D printing is and how to use the equipment as well as create a Tinkercad account and learn how to create and combine shapes to make their very own 3D object.
