How well do you know H2O? Whether you boil it, freeze it, or evaporate it, water is all around us. Join us as we experiment with water in its different forms and motions.

Classes are for children ages 3-5, accompanied by one adult. In-class and take-home projects are included.
Classes are $15 for members and $20 for non-members (per adult/child pair.)

Each exciting program is 45 minutes in length with 25 maximum students. A minimum of one adult assistant must be provided for every 10 students.

3-2-1 BLAST OFF! - For ages 4-5 only
Have you ever wondered how rockets can travel so high in the sky, or what it would be like to launch your very own rocket? Come along with the Arizona Science Center for an adventure in space! We will design, build and launch our very own rockets! Using recycled bottles, cardboard, water and compressed air we will master the science of soda bottle rocketry. 3-2-1 BLAST OFF!
A 50 ft. x 100 ft. outdoor location and indoor classroom required.
KALEIDOSCOPES, RAINBOWS & SHADOWS
Introduce your preschool class to the world of light and color. What is light? How do we see color? Discover some properties of light and color using flashlights, mirrors and prisms.Your class will look through kaleidoscopes, capture shadows and take a swim with "the Rainbow Fish" as we separate colors using chromatography.

GERMS, GERMS, & BOOK WORMS
Join us as we show your preschoolers the importance of proper hygiene. Meet Betsy Bookworm and listen to the tale of how she got a nasty case of worm germ. We will look at germs on our hands under special lights, play the germ fighter game, look through microscopes and practice washing our hands the proper way.
DINO DISCOVERIES
Explore the fun world of paleontology as your preschool class becomes paleontologists for the day. Join Arizona Science Center outreach team as we learn all about dinosaurs. We will excavate fossils, examine dinosaur eggs and construct dinosaur models. Learn how dinosaurs once lived and what they ate for dinner by putting together puzzle pieces from the past.
